Spam woes

Apologies to those who have posted comments but never had them appear. I've only just discovered that a bunch of "real" comments got filtered out along with spam. And there was a LOT of spam.

For those interested, I've been posting other writing-related comics at Inkygirl: Daily Diversions For Writers.

But it's definitely time for a new survey. A LONG while back, I asked what your favourite online writing communities were...but I never followed up. So let me rephrase the survey as well as promising to follow up in my next post.

Are you currently a member of an online writing community?

If so, which one(s)? Please include the URL.

Why did you join? (e.g. networking? inspiration? pure fun? etc.)

Is it what you expected?

I'll summarize the results in my next post as well as talk about some of the pros and cons of online writing communities.
