Test post from MacJournal to my iPad Blog

With all the projects I have going these days, I figure it’s about time I start keeping regular track of how I’m using my iPad to work on my iPad Novel Project. I’ve set up MacJournal so that I can more easily export entries into my iPad journal on Squarespace. I have several types of journals in MacJournal including a medical history, work log and other project logs. I opted for MacJournal because in addition to a desktop app, it's also available as an iPhone & iPad app.

At least, that’s the theory. let’s see if this works...

(NOTE: it looks as if the MacJournal iPad app does not yet have some of the capabilities mentioned below. My test post was made from the desktop MacJournal app.)

Edit #1:

Ok, not as easy as it initially appeared. Apparently I had to look up and enter the Blog ID manually; the one that is automatically entered wasn’t correct, and this was posted into the wrong journal. Here’s where I found the answer: https://marinersoftware.tenderapp.com/discussions/macjournal-2/1040-blogging-to-squarespace

Edit #2:

This time it posted to the right journal, but without any line breaks.

Did some more Googling and found this post: https://marinersoftware.tenderapp.com/discussions/macjournal-2/1453-squarespace-formatting

Edit #3:

Line breaks have now been added, but I can’t figure out a way to Publish the post rather than save as a draft. Also not sure how to add links via HTML. Ah well, it’s a start.

Edit #4:

Aha, figured it out!

Yikes- I was considering getting macJournal, but that looks like it was a pretty counter-intuitive process!
